Makara (マカラ Makara) is a shy clownfish. Wakasa took care of him when he was small and he is like a little brother or junior to him.[1]
Appearance[]
Makara is a young clownfish with light blonde hair and clear blue eyes. He has white and black marks around his neck, chest, and lower body. Because clownfish can change genders depending of their environment, Makara changes gender when he is around a human male (Tatsumi), but goes back to be a man when he is around a human female (Kasumi).[1] When he is a man, his hair is short but it grows larger when he is a woman.
Personality[]
Makara is shy but very territorial, and he becomes agressive when he is around his territory, in others words, Wakasa himself. This is because clownfish form a symbolic relantioship with their homes and dislike leaving. Wakasa said that he gets really lonely and likes to be spoiled.[1] Initially, Makara disliked Tatsumi, but once he got used to him he becomes completely open to Tatsumi as well.

- Tatsumi thought he was the illegitimate child of Wakasa.[1]
- Makara is the only know character who can change his gender.
- Kasumi got angry with him because she thought that he was seducing Tatsumi while in his female form.[2]
